Mmmm, cheesecake

Cheesecake balls-on-a-stick are goooood. Hmm, I wonder if my snug-fitting pants have anything to do with the obscene amount of sweets I've been consuming this month. Naaa, that can't be it. Damn! This is why I neeeeeeed to d-a-n-c-e.

Wishing you lots of sweets and dancing during the holiday festivities.

Feliz Navidad!!!

te amo...

It's been 39 days since my last run, I realized that I'm blue when I don't run. You know what else? It's the same with dancing. I'm sad when my body isn't doing either one of those two things. Sometimes thinking about dancing or running gets met giddy and excited, it gives me butterflies. I realize I'm in love. Or is it that I love those two things? Yes, I love running and dancing. Ahhh, love.....

I did a little bit of salsa dancing Saturday night. A fleeting moment of bliss, that is, until I stepped on someone with my heel, ouch, I'm so sorry.

Let's get out there and do what we love!

It's all about the guacamole

What is it about time? Not enough of it...too much...flies by...doesn't come quick enough. I'm a planner. I like to know what the plan is, the schedule, the script, etc. That's my problem; I'm a planner, not so much a do-er. I'm the person who buys next year's calendar in October, what's the rush? I was thinking about this today because I have a couple of events in the coming months of January and February. I'm excitedly looking forward to them and I was thinking about who I would share these events with. Specifically, I was thinking about a particular person and feeling like a fool because women are always planning ahead, way ahead; and men, well, not so much. What's up with that? WHY do we do that? And why don't THEY? Arrggh.

Oh yeah, tonight's title comes from a Burt Wolf interview. He was a guest on a show on the local PBS station. The guacamole story has to do with the time he met his wife. I love men who talk about stuff like that. I love PBS. I'm such a sap today. I love PBS.

Oh yeah, last week I met Frank Santorelli of The Sopranos fame and I shook his hand. I was a little giddy. See what I mean, I'm a sap.

Make a gift to your local PBS station.

2007 Holiday Giggle

I'm very excited, it will be a great night! I definitely need the laughs, the last couple of weeks have been a little ugggh.

Great show next week Wednesday at the Portage Theater. 6 comedians take the stage and Frank Santorelli, from The Sopranos will guest star. Holiday music, laughs, after-party; and the best part: every single cent raised benefits 13 local organizations!

It's MaDneSS!!

I think I've found my first race for 2008! Yeeeaah. The March Madness half-marathon. It's a hilly course, never done that before, but the scenic course makes it worthwhile. Thanks Melina for the invite, only 100 days 'til race day. I can't wait, as I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with different balls up in the air. I'll keep plugging along, one day at a time.
